More puzzles! ha. Seems like there's something new to solve every week eh. I have a friend who claimed that Bill Gates once computed a series of the answers for lab tests at Microsoft and still can't figure it out. *Duh look*

Know how i love doing dumb personality tests online? Well i just found one that gave me the most accurate readings and all it took was my birth-date! woho. So much for character building and personality huh, since everything was predetermined on the day of my birth. haha.

Sure i was sad when all 57 girls rejected me last Saturday. Heck, even my neighbour's 8 year old daughter shrieked and ran away. (Must be the pick-up lines.)
But deep down i know, the important thing is that,

Taxi drivers

I usually enjoy conversing with taxi drivers on my rides home, but today was an exception and i so very have to bitch about it. Anyways, here i was, taking a cab home at 4:30am, utterly spent from a long dull day. Yearning for some sleep, i was like an explosion awaiting ignition. And that was exactly what that damned cabbie gave me.
After paying $16.50 for my $16.45 fare, i stared at the driver, awaiting some form of acknowledgement. Instead, the driver's face crumbled into an awkward mess, effectively giving me the look. (the is pronounced with an italian accent.)

Cabbie: Your fare is $16.45.
(the look.)
Me: Hmm..

At first, i thought, hey maybe i underpaid him or something, but i double checked and i did indeed pay him $16.50. So what was the problem here?

Cabbie: You want me to change you 5 cents ah?
(the look intensified.)
Me: Huh, oh, err.. it's ok, you can keep the change.

Come to think of it now, i should have insisted on the change and threw it back at him darn face. It's 4:30 in the morning lor, the last thing i needed was someone to piss me off.

To that darned cabbie: I hope you are happy, now that you are 5 cents richer, loser.

Foaming

I have this friend; let's call him Ben for identification's sake. Now, Ben talks alot. In fact, i strongly believe that he lives just so he could keep talking. Not that it is a bad thing thou, for he speaks pretty darn well. You know, i bet he could talk himself out of a murder charge if he was given the situation and chance. But, ah ha, the thing is this - everytime he speaks, he gets engrossed, and as he gets engrossed, he gets excited, and as he gets excited, he foams. Yes, foams. You know, his saliva kinda gather at the corners of his mouth, forming this two white bubble-ish pool at each side.

I don't know about you guys, but that bothers me alot. It makes me twitch. Everytime as we converse, my focus will slowly move from his eyes to the corners of his mouth and his voice fades away as voices fill my mind. They (the voices) usually go, 'Oh my god, swallow swallow, pause and swallow it! You are going to choke i tell you. Hey, it's starting to spurt, argh, get away from me. Get away from ME!'

Many of us make resolutions to go for our dreams, but why do we seem to always fall short? Having dreams gives your life, your career power, direction and meaning.
But how many are actually living that dream? Our negative side, our fears, often become the major obstacle.

I have found some of mine, but the journey has just begun, and that is the fun of it all.

This post isn't late.. nah, 2004 just came too early, that's all. In fact, Christmas came to early, november went too fast, october skipped some steps, and 2003 flashed in a wink. (Which reminds me, i still owe someone a Christmas gift.)
Anyways, there i was lying on my bed, trying to recollect bits and pieces of 2003, reflecting, when i suddenly realise - alas, there isn't much to recollect. I haven't really done anything significant for the past year.
Nil, zip, nuts, zero, nada. 365 days and nothing. Hmm.. although this might be due to the fact that i have a really bad memory.. but we'll leave it as that for the time being.

So i thought; hey this must be the reason why people come up with new year resolutions - so that they can coax themselves into believing that they will actually, finally do something meaningful this next year, you know, so that it will not be as wasted as the past year.
Hello? Who are you guys kidding, really.
Of course, i am nothing like the other people. I will actually keep to my resolutions! Hmm.. just like how i did last year.. spritually.. haha..

1. Really really need to get off my lazy ass and start doing some work. Web designing, script writing, shooting short films, print designing; you know, stuff like that..
2. Sleep more.
3. Exercise more.
4. Notice how sleep more and exercise more kinda contradicts each other? Oh well.. whatever.
5. Decide what i am going to do after N.S. (National Service.) ORD LOH!
6. Get a girlfriend. n_n;
7. Stop making new year resolutions which i can't keep; refer to points one to six.

P.S. Sorry dear, i'll try to remember to bring your present out the next time we meet, k? That is, if i remember to buy it first.
