Resolutions

I guess it's that time of the year again; where people list down things they didn't manage to achieve in the past year, wish they could do in the following year, but most probably wouldn't accomplish in their lifetime.

So let's just see how I would do.

1. Sleep earlier.
I thought I'll start off with something simple, to ease myself into this whole resolutions thingy. So yah, sleep earlier.

2. Keep fit.
Keeping in line with the healthier lifestyle business. I hereby pledge to exercise more, drink more water, eat healthier, snack less.. you get the drift.

3. Work harder.
For various reasons, the past few months have been a really slack-and-work-just-enough-to-get-by period. Must start working harder. Kick off my few pending personal projects, take more photos, experiment more.

4. A-post-a-day.
To get me in the mood of working harder, I shall blog a post each day. Yes, you heard it right. Hur hur! So expect something new here everyday. Would probably be posting more doodles, work-in-progress, and photos. Plus the usual nonsense. Let's see how long I can keep this up yah! *fingers crossed

5. Play even harder.
Naturally. I can probably go on about this forever. There's just so much I want to do in regards. Go Japan, Taiwan, Paris, US and so much more. I'll probably have to split that up into these few years. Meet up with more friends, KTV more, pick up some new activities (mahjong? fishing? hiking? diving?). Generally have more F.U.N.

6. Help others.
Okay, this one is abit tricky. Would it be some community work? A friend in need? I really have no idea yet. Let's just see how it works out. Go Karma~

7. Read more.
Have been meaning to catch up on some Physics theories for some time now. See what's new in my favorite world of "bullshat". Haha. While I'm at it, let's throw in the papers, some novels, and what-nots. Worldly wise my friends, worldly wise.

8. Learn something new.
Driving is one thing I'm in the midst of. But I'm pretty keen on learning some serious cooking, Chinese Calligraphy and other miscellaneous little skills. And while the Government is subsiding 40% fees for degrees.. nice. I would probably be looking out for a suitable part-time course too. Woah, busy busy.

9. Get married.
Right. This is probably a long shot, considering I'm not seeing anyone now. But I don't know, ever since I changed my mind about this whole marriage/kids thingy, I am looking pretty forward to this whole new-stage-of-life idea. So, let's not close any doors just yet, who knows? Boom-boom-boom, things might have a sharp turn in the following months. You and I both know God loves to play jokes, especially on me. Boo hoo.

10. Blank.
Ah.. I'm leaving the last one as my trump card. So I can see how things goes and come back and edit this. Haha. Shh. Don't tell others.

  2. I actually wonder why we have to resolutions based on a yearly basis hehee. For easy reference? Isn't it better to come up with a resolution as and when we want to since it is not something that is restricted by / locked down by yearly basis.

  5. SR,
    You really converted huh?
    Yah.. Lot's "planned" to do..

    Panda,
Well.. Because the start of the year symbolizes a new beginning? So with every new start, you need a new vision/plan to proceed/look forward towards? It's all just a idea I guess..

    ERV,
    You.. got.. to.. stop.. slacking..
